 Jeannette Erdmann

Jeannette Erdmann, Board Member

Jeannette Erdmann grew up in Lehi, Utah.  She graduated from Dixie College after which she moved to the Salt Lake City area.  She is married to Robert Erdmann and they have one son, a Marine Biologist, who is now married and living in Oregon.  She is extremely proud of her grand-dog, Kiska, a stubborn English Bull dog.  Jeannette retired in 2014 after working for a company that manufactured flight controls for aircraft.  This exciting job offered her the opportunity to travel extensively where she met many wonderful people around the world, many of whom she still remains friends with.  Once Jeannette retired they moved to Kanab, to the home they loved to escape to when they needed a break from the crazy city life. Jeannette serves as the lead of the Foundation’s Gifted and Talented focus area.

She enjoys hiking and exploring the beautiful Southern Utah area and she plans on spending more time exploring the amazing country that we live in.  Since retiring Jeannette has taken a few classes, Master Gardening and Lapidary.  She finds the process of turning a rock into a beautiful cabochon very peaceful.
