Mark Kuehnel, Board Member
Mark Kuehnel worked at Southern California Edison for more than 25 years. He was a Meter Reader, Transmission Lineman, Communications Specialist, Human Resources Representative, Information Technology Project Manager and retired as a Corporate Communications Project Manager in 2003.
During his tenure at Southern California Edison, he served as a Loaned Executive to the United Way of Los Angeles, was a Youth Coordinator for the United Way of the High Desert and helped them strategically implement a million dollar campaign fundraiser.
Upon retirement, he provided direction in developing a database for the Hesperia Unified School District to help track more than 1.5 million dollars in athletic equipment. He also provided sports programming to Charter Communications in Victorville, California in support of High Desert Prep Sports. He additionally served the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department as a Professional Services Media Technician.
Mark currently serves as a broadcast advisor to Kanab High School and provides production facilities for Kanab High School’s 67 live webcasts of football, volleyball and basketball events. His other community involvement is directed at supporting youth programs through South Central Communications video portal. He is actively involved in the local arts programs in Kanab and serves as a board member to the Symphony of the Canyons.
