2024 Summer Science Camp for 4-6 year olds

Registration is now OPEN

PSSC 2024 - Life Science.jpg

Our Preschool Summer Science Camp will be 4 weeks of learning all things LIFE SCIENCE!  We will be experimenting with what plants need to live and grow, how plants and animals adapt to survive, the food chain, and more!  The camp dates will be June 4, 11, 18, 25.  We will meet at 10 AM at Kanab City Park.  After each class, your child will be sent home with a fun take home packet with awesome projects to do pertaining to what they just learned in camp.  It will be so much fun, you won't want your child to miss out!  For ages 4-6.  Sign your child up with the link above.

*We ask that a guardian be present or within the park area so their camper can have a fun and comfortable experience!

*This is for campers ages 4-6, these activities are geared to their age.  If there are any younger children we ask that you take them over to the park area till the camp is over.

This program is design to increase the vocabularies of children ages 4 to 6 by giving opportunities to learn, hear, and practice new words. Research has indicated that the more words a child has when entering the school system, the more successful their learning becomes. Additionally, this program gives exposure to different science subjects through reading and new experiences and activities. By giving students the opportunity to talk with their peers, parents, and other adults about what they are learning and experiencing better equips them for understanding what is happening in the world around them.

Kane Education Foundation would like to thank the SUU Center for STEM Teaching and Learning for partnering with us in this project.
