Stephen Dahl, Vice Chair
Steve and his wife, Nicola moved to Kanab in 2005. Steve stepped away from practicing Pharmacy at that time and Nicola continues as a freelance medical writer for the pharmaceutical industry. During Steve’s career, he taught at Auburn University, University of Utah, and University of Missouri-Kansas City. Other professional activities included coordinating clinical studies for the Cooperative Systematic Studies of Rheumatic Diseases and pharmaceutical-sponsored drug studies. In private practice he provided consultant pharmacy services to assisted care and long-term care facilities throughout Missouri.
Since moving to Kanab, Steve has been an active volunteer for the Paleontology program of the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument and has been a board member of the Kane Education Foundation “for longer than I can remember”. Steve joined the board because he believes education best prepares young people with the skills to adapt to an ever-changing future and this volunteer-driven Foundation provides a conduit for businesses, families, and alumni to further support and enhance educational outcomes for those in our rural community.
